Modernians-Old Guildfordians Mundaring Hockey Club (Mods-OGM) is a family based club established in 2023. MODS‑OGM is proud to be one of Perth’s newest and most exciting hockey communities, formed through the merger of two long‑standing and respected clubs. Modernians HC, founded in 1931, and Guildford‑Mundaring HC, established in 1930, united in 2023 to create a stronger, more vibrant future for players of all ages.
Modernians Hockey Club began in 1931 as an ex-student and associated club for Perth Modern School, sharing the sphinx logo and the colours of the school.
The Old Guildfordian's Mundaring Hockey Club (OGMHC) is one of the oldest hockey clubs in Western Australia, established in 1930.
With nearly a century of combined history, MODS‑OGM blends tradition with a fresh, dynamic club culture. Our home grass teams train and play at Charles Veryard Reserve in North Perth, while our high‑performance squads train and compete on turf at Guildford Grammar School and Warwick Turf.
Together, we’re building a club that champions inclusivity, development, community spirit, and a lifelong love of hockey.
We welcome men, women and children from 4 to 84 years of age and have an active social environment. Our main clubrooms are located at Charles Veryard Reserve, Bourke Street, North Perth.
