Mods-OGM HC juniors are a vibrant part of our growing family based club with a focus on building friendships and enjoying our sport. We welcome ALL from 4-18 years of age across a variety of competitions.

We have clear behavioural expectations of our members, parents and volunteers and in being part of our junior programme, you have agreed to abide by them.

Junior Philosophy

Custom Made Mouthguards

Mouthguards are an essential part of Hockey and it’s important to get a mouthguard that fits.

Fittings for custom made mouthguards can be booked by appointment.

Registration

Please register Online to train and be insured with Hockey Australia. 

The Hockey WA Junior Competition is divided into the following age groups:

J 11/12 (for all children in Year 11 and 12 or below)
J 9/10 (for all children in Year 9 and 10 or below)
J 7/8 (for all children in Year 7 and 8 or below)
J 5/6 (for all children in Year 5 and 6 or below)

Hookin2Hockey (Kindy to Year 4)

This year H2H will consist of 16 sessions across Term 2 and Term 3 as follows:

Session: Charles Veryard (Thursday 4.30-5.30 pm) Lilac Hill (Saturday 9-10 am)

Charles Veryard Term 2  Thursdays 4:30 - 5.30pm - (3-4s) Starts 23rd April (K-Y2) 30 April
Lilac Hill starts  2nd May Saturday 9-10am (not school hols or long weekends)

2026 Registration Fees

Mods-OGM HC strive to keep its fees as low as possible. See Information on Fees here

The Junior Committee has secured a regular booking at the turf at Warwick Hockey Centre (Whitfords Hockey Club) and at Guildford Grammar School. Turf training costs money, which has been reflected in the Registration fees, the benefit of more turf training time will greatly benefit the development of our players and club.

The umpire levy we introduced a few years ago, has been incorporated into this years fees again. All junior teams will benefit from not having to worry about finding umpires and finding money to pay umpires every game.

If you have any difficulty in paying the fees, please do not hesitate to contact our Treasurer to come up with a payment plan

CV Thursdays 4.30-5.30pm
Lilac Hill Saturdays  9-10 am

Training sessions will begin at The Yard 16th April 2026

J5/6-J7/8
CV Thursdays 4.30-5.30pm

J9/10
CV Thursdays 5.30-6.30pm

J11/12 Wednesdays on turf at Warwick, 5.30-6.30 pm

Please come prepared with a mouthguard, stick, shin pads, water bottle.

Hookin2Hockey

Fees: You have the option of buying the equipment pack separately to the membership.

Ages: Kindy to Year 4. 
It’s all about Fun, Fitness and Friendship in this age group.

Is essentially Try before you buy.
A 4-week session to see if your child enjoys the sport before committing. 
The cost covers insurance

This is social hockey for primary school aged children who may not know yet how wonderful hockey is.. or for children that may not be able to play Saturday games.
